主要成果：近5年，主持国家自然科学基金（面上）2项、广东省科技厅应用型研发专项等项目，联合主持国家重点研发计划（2项）、广东省科技厅重大科技项目和广东省重点领域项目等项目20余项。以第一作者或通讯作者在Information Sciences,IEEE Transactions on Network and Service Management. IEEE Transactions on Parallel and Distributed Systems、 IEEE Internet of Things Journal、 Journal of Network and Computer
Applications、Future Generation Computer Systems 和《通信学报》等国内外权威期刊上发表论文30余篇。授权发明专利30余件，软件著作权20余件。与中兴通讯股份有限公司、宏电股份、格兰仕集团、蓝盾股份、广东拓迪智能科技有限公司、中经汇通、广东亿荣电子商务有限公司和易和集团等公司深度合作，服务企业经费500余万，研发产品受到企业的一致好评。
同时，鼓励、支持和指导学生参加各类创新创业竞赛，获得全国“挑战杯”二等奖和全国研究生电子设计竞赛二等奖等国家级、中国“互联网+”国赛银奖/省赛金奖等省级奖励20余项，指导学生获得国家级大学生创新训练计划等创新训练项目10余项。
