胡海波，香港理工大学电机及电子工程学系，教授，信息安全学位课程主任。中国计算机学会数据库专委会执行委员、中国保密协会隐私保护专委会委员、ACM中国 SIGSPATIAL分会执行委员，ACM,IEEE,和 CCF高级会员。在博士期间获得过ACM香港最佳博士论文奖和微软2004 ImagineCup大赛荣誉奖等多项奖励。胡教授的研究领域包括信息安全、隐私保护、人工智能安全、社交移动及时空数据库等。在查询认证、隐私查询

（PI）主持了多项国家自然科学基金（含面上项目和重大研究计划）、香港研究资助局（地位相当于国家自然科学基金）、香港创新科技署创新及科技基金（相当于科委科学基金）以及大型企业（例如华为）的创新研究项目，总金额超过2500万港币。作为共同主持人（Co-PI）主持参与了国家自然科学基金联合基金重点支持项目、香港研究资助局协作研究金、InnoHK创新香港研发平台等大型研究项目等大型研究项目。在国际数据管理和信息安全领域顶级会议和期刊，包括ACM SIGMOD,TODS, IEEETKDE,TPDS.

Hai-Bo Hu, Professor, Director of Information Security Degree Program, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.He is an executive member of the Database Committee of the China Computer Society, a member of the Privacy Protection Committee of the China Privacy Association, an executive member of the ACM China SIGSPATIAL Chapter, and a senior member of ACM, IEEE, and CCF.During his Ph.D., he received many awards, including the ACM Hong Kong Best Ph.D. Thesis Award and the Microsoft 2004 ImagineCup Competition Honorable Mention.Prof. Hu’s research interests include information security, privacy protection, artificial intelligence security, social mobile and spatio-temporal databases.He has been working on query authentication, privacy query
processing, location privacy protection, machine learning model protection, and other areas of pioneering contributions.As a project leader
(PI), he has presided over a number of innovative research projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) (including both top-level projects and major research programs), Hong Kong Research Grants Council (with a status equivalent to NSFC), Innovation and Technology Fund of the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of Hong Kong (equivalent to the Science and Technology Fund of the Science and Technology Commission (STF)), as well as large corporations (e.g., Huawei), with a total of more than $25 million in HK dollars.As a Co-PI, he has led and participated in large-scale research projects such as the NSFC Joint Fund Key Support Program, the Hong Kong Research Grants Council Collaborative Research Grants, and large-scale research projects such as InnoHK’s InnoHong Kong R&D Platform.He has published in top international conferences and journals in the field of data management and information security, including ACM SIGMOD,TODS, IEEETKDE,TPDS.
